Hi Tibians,
welcome to the test server of the summer update 2024!
This thread is for the new hunting grounds from The Rise of Podzilla questline.
Podzilla Stalk
The difficulty of these hunting grounds should be in the range between Ingol/Deeper Ingol and the Secret Library. Podzilla Stalk will be closer to the Secret Library and as such more teamhunt orientated, whereas Podzilla Bottom is closer to Ingol/Deeper Ingol and as such should also be manageable as a solo player.
There are some interactions of quest missions with the hunting grounds which can be discussed in the respective thread Rise of Podzilla - Missions and Map.

this is not the "bash other vocations thread" if I remember correctly.

Tibia is a place for all vocations and we really try
to make your experience as fun as possible (for all vocations).
So, back to topic:

For the focus of loot/experience these should be skewed towards experience.
Level Range is a tough one
These numbers are not set in stone but approximately teamhunt should be possible from level 600 on, whereas the solo hunt is probably too hard for this level range at the moment. I will check the data tomorrow and see if I get a better overview of level ranges.

We will collect more data and think about some possible solutions.
Therefore it would be very interesting to get some
more feedback for different level ranges.

Could you please tell me what is the "goal" here? Are these new spawns meant to be focused in Gold or in Experience? What is the level range planned for them?On a broader scope and as already mentioned in the opening post Podzilla Stalk should be hard to do solo and should be easier to manage as a teamhunt. For parties being able to manage Energy Library this hunt should be doable although we probably start on the higher side of damage (especially with holy being part of the damage spectrum). Podzilla Bottom should be easier for solo/duos.
For the focus of loot/experience these should be skewed towards experience.
Level Range is a tough one
Is it intended that they have this "double stack" against physical damage? (high armor + resistance towards phys)Kind of intended but that does not mean the values are perfectly balanced and we will keep an eye on further feedback. On a side note, the holy sensitivity of the Quara comes from experience in fighting the rootthings as these favor holy damage (this is somewhat related to the amber which is considered holy for the rootthing population
Duo MS 1,5 & 1,6 with damage preys are able to maintain 19-20kk raw experience there.Yeah, the experience gains are too high at the moment.
All i can say, is with a partner its much easier to hunt this respawn. Could even lead to sick numbers when people will find out propper way to hunt this spot.
We will collect more data and think about some possible solutions.
The question is, would it be broken for lower levels too, or just decent rewards for high levels.We will gather some more data and have a look at the efficiency distribution for each level range.
Therefore it would be very interesting to get some
more feedback for different level ranges.

If this chain mechanics is indeed targeting teams, then it would be a good start to limit this respawn and future ones to solo/duo players.Indeed, we implemented spells for the monsters in Podzilla Stalk and Podzilla Bottom that should encourage teamhunting in Podzilla Stalk and solo/duo in Podzilla Bottom.

Hello Tibians,
we lowered the density of monsters on the first floor of Podzilla Bottom. We will monitor how much this will influence your hunting efficiency.
We will also monitor the damage output of the chain mechanic and are also evaluating some solutions regarding the boss accessibility.

- slight adjustments to monster density
Podzilla Bottom
- reduce experience by approx. 15 %
- ensure that solo/duo is the most viable option
- slight adjustments to monster density
Of course we will monitor the development of these hunting grounds after release.
