Dear Testers,

welcome to our test server for the Summer Update 2024! Among the new quests mentioned in the welcome thread, there is a quest called "Sweet Dreams" waiting to be discovered. It is a continuation of the Feyrist questline and will take you to a new island full of sweet secrets.

Have fun discovering this new area with its lollipop fields and peppermint forests as well as two underground dungeons. Lift some secrets concerning the Chocolate Mines. Ask Maelyrra in Feyrist about the mysterious new gate in the fae realm, she will tell you more. After unlocking the access to the new island Candia, the quest there mainly focusses on helping the Sugar Fairy with some of her problems, discovering hidden items and help in a tricky diplomatic matter. This area, just like Feyrist, is targeted at mid-level players, the monsters and mini bosses are the main reason to re-visit the dungeons. But there's also new equipment, a beautiful mount and special house decoration waiting for you as reward.


Please note that in this thread we will discuss only the quest-related questions. For feedback concerning the monsters and micro bosses, please use the according thread: Sweet Dreams - Hunting Ground Balancing

Please report obvious bugs via the bug report function ingame (press Ctrl+Z):

• Map bugs can be reported by right-clicking on a map field and selecting the entry "Report Coordinate" from the context menu.
  
• Mistakes in NPC chats can be reported by right-clicking on the NPC text in question and selecting the context menu entry "Report Message".

Dear testers,

thank your for testing and for your feedback so far! Today, I can announce the following changes:

- The stairs near Toffee's house will be accessible now.
- The testserver assistant will be adjusted regarding the requirements and reset option and lion sanctum access.
- Maelyrra will react to just "donut" as a keyword so it will be easier to start the quest.
- We will adjust how to deliver the sweets to the Sugar Plum Fairy regarding dialogue flow.
- The cooldown for collecting the sugar cubes in the chests on Feyrist will be considerably shorter.
- Captive Forest Fury will also react to the keyword "help".
- Sugar Cube Sprite will be fixed.
- Candy Carnival NPCs will be a bit more precise when pointing you in the right direction for the candy lipstick.

Dear testers,

thank you for testing, for discovering various bugs and for improving the area of Candia and the Sweet Dreams questline with your feedback!

Today, we made some more changes and adjustments.

- The sprite of the sugar cubes is fixed now and we are still working on some clipping issues with the donut gate.
- We made another fix concerning the quest reset with the testserver assistant.
- It will now be possible to dig up the sand toys with the Secret Service Quest tools.
- You will be able to build a sand castle with normal sand.
- Wafer paper butterfly was added to Bestiary.
- We fixed several map bugs and typos.

some more notes:
- The recipes for the rainbow waffles, nightsky cupcake, matcha turtle and rose milk cake are flavour quest rewards and an invitation to bake those sweets. Perhaps someone wants to give it a shot.
- The reward for finding taffy bunny Cherry is the Sugar Plum Fairy's eternal gratitude - for now.
- You can get the peppermint backpack from Sugar Daddy with a rare chance.

Dear testers,

I understand that you would like to use the Sugar Plum Fairy's sweets to decorate your houses. They look really pretty. Please know, that you can loot them from the mini bosses more than once. The chance is 100% before you deliver the sweets, but even after that there is a small chance to loot them.

The quest reset should work correctly now and we will have a look at the stash issue.

Dear testers,

thank you for continuing to test over the course of the weekend!

We made some more changes that I can announce today:

- We are delighted that you have taken such a liking to the little gingerbread houses in Candia. So that the sugar sprites don't have to worry about their homes being carried away, it will be possible to buy one of these houses from Coco - at an appropriate price.
- It should be possible to fish for the delicious taiyaki fish in the cocoa lakes as well as in the milk lakes. But there is another change: With the next patch, taiyaki fishing will also be possible with yummy gummy worms, not just with gummy rotworms.
- The weight of chocolate coins is reduced to 0,01 oz.

Please notice that there won't be a patch tomorrow, so some changes might not be up until Thursday.
