Dear Tibians,

welcome to this thread regarding the new items from this year's winter update.

These items are part of the No Rest for the Wicked questline.

  • Provide a short and clear headline that captures the essence of your feedback.
Situation/Problem: In a nutshell, what bothers you and why?
  • Be specific, concise and to the point while giving enough detail for understanding.
  • Tell us about your own personal experiences, observations and your point of view.

  • Make a reasonable suggestion on how to remedy the situation/problem.

In general, make sure that your feedback...

  • Resistances: Hit +3%, Death +6%
  • Hello!

What does Hit +3% resistance mean? How is this different than current protection physical?
Thank you for your comment, I have updated the wording in the item description.

    Hello Tibians,

Thank you for your ongoing feedback. At the moment, we are still collecting and evaluating your suggestions.

Please give us the ability to get level 300 in test server so we can test the new items.

I'm currently lvl 320 in global, but when the characters were backed up for test server I was 290 and can't get to 300 to test

    thanks!
After one of the next testserver patches, you will be able to get enough experience from the testserver assistant to reach level 300 and try out the new items.

This is almost nitpicking but, in-game and on other instances you used Armor (Us spelling), here you used Armour (UK spelling).

And congratulations on the direction you guys been taking lately, game is getting better with each update.
Thank you for the hint, I have adjusted the spelling in the item descriptions.

    Dear Tibians,

thank you for your ongoing feedback, we are reading all of it and will announce any potential changes in this thread.
"Please also note that it is not possible to upgrade tiered weapons"

Can you clarify the above sentence.
I am understanding that if a weapon has been tiered, it can no longer be upgraded.

What if a weapon has been upgraded, can it be tiered after? Think this should be clarified.
Yes, upgraded (rending/draining/siphoning) weapons can also be tiered.
This only means that tiered base weapons cannot be upgraded at the doomforge.
How do the permanent effects work with imbuements?

Is it possible to imbue a Rend weapon with crit? Does the critical extra damage go up to 106% damage in that case?
No, that is not possible. I have updated the information at the beginning of this thread to display the imbuement exclusions for the three upgrade variants.

    Best regards and happy testing,
    Ilyndor
    Dear Tibians,

thank you for your ongoing feedback. To enhance their offensive power, we have made the following adjustments to the new wands and rods:

Inferniarch Wand (and all its upgraded variants)
    • added fire magic level +1

Inferniarch Rod (and all its upgraded variants)
    • added earth magic level +1

We would also like to address the elemental choices for the new knight weapons. We believe that the gap between the inferniarch weapons and the sanguine weapons, which are currently the best in slot, is large enough for them to share their offensive elements.

I like it, but could you please consider changing the angle (mirrored) on the 1h axes, the crossbow & bow?
Thank you for your comment. We have updated the sprites of the inferniarch battleaxe, the inferniarch bow and the inferniarch arbalest as well as all of their upgraded variants to be more consistent with existing weapon sprites.
The Demonfang Mask, however, feels overly penalized with attribute reductions for only a +1 increase in healing magic level. This is particularly problematic since EDs generally require more mana than MS during hunts, making mana sustain essential. A stronger mana leech attribute on this mask would significantly improve its viability.
Just to give you a bit more insight into this decision: the amount of mana leech that was chosen for each helmet's spell augment is based upon the cooldown of the respective spells.

All changes will go live with one of the next testserver patches.

    Best regards and happy testing,
    Ilyndor
    Hello Tibians,

I would like to inform you about an update from the general test feedback thread about the classifications of some boots.

    Golden Boots C4 -> C3
    Treader of Torments C3 -> C4
    Depth Calcei C2 -> C3

If you would like to share feedback on these changes or on the boots classification in general, please feel free to post your thoughts in the general test feedback thread.

    Best regards,
    Ilyndor
    Dear Tibians,

We appreciate your feedback on the new items and would like to address your concerns regarding the number of imbuement slots on the new weapons. We believe that adding more imbuement slots would make these weapons stronger than intended, so we do not plan to make any changes in this regard.

However, other propositions are still under discussion, and we welcome any additional suggestions you may have.

    Best regards,
    Ilyndor
    Dear Tibians,

Thank you for all your feedback over the past few days. Today, we want to announce two additional changes to the new Inferniarch weapons, that will go live with one of the next testserver patches:

Firstly, we have increased the permanent effect of the upgrade variants to further incentivize Doomforging:

    Rending
    • Critical Extra Damage: +62% (was 56%)

    Draining
    • Life Leech: +31% (was 28%)

    Siphoning
    • Mana Leech: 10% (was 9%)

Secondly, we have decided to make the base Inferniarch weapons more accessible. At the Doomforge, you will find a locked door that the Forgemaster will open for you after you have defeated Arbaziloth in hard mode (by sparing the Forgemaster until he escapes) at least 10 times.

In this new room, designed as a nod to the Annihilator reward room, you will be able to select one Inferniarch base weapon of your choice. We have added this reward to improve accessibility to the base weapons and the Doomforging system, while also fitting thematically.

Please note that this method of obtaining new equipment is not intended to be a new standard for future quests.

    Best regards, and happy crafting!
    Ilyndor
    Dear Tibians,

Thank you for your feedback on our latest changes to the new Inferniarch weapons.

After careful consideration, we have decided to slightly reduce the permanent effect of the Rending and Draining upgrade variants to position them more clearly below the Soulwar weapons.

    Rending
    • Critical Extra Damage: 58% (was 62%)

    Draining
    • Life Leech: 29% (was 31%)

The Siphoning upgrade variants will retain their current bonus, as the Soulwar weapons already provide a clear upgrade over them.

    Best regards,
    Ilyndor
    Hello,
Would it be possible to do the same sprite change to the two handed sword? It feels so wrong to have it looking down. Cheers!
Yes, the sprites of the inferniarch slayer and its upgraded variants will also be updated to be more consistent with other weapon sprites after the testserver ends.

    Best regards,
    Ilyndor
    Dear Tibians,

Before closing this thread, I want to thank you all once again for your feedback on the new equipment introduced in this year's winter update.

While some of your suggestions were not implemented this time, we have taken note of them and may consider them for future item designs.

Best regards, and until next time,
    Ilyndor
