Hello Tibians,

This thread is dedicated to discussing the newest quest, No Rest For The Wicked, focusing on the tasks and final boss encounter.

This quest starts in the lowest level of the southeast tower at the Edron academy. From there, you'll journey to a long-lost island rich in dark history, confronting new demonic foes (please post specific enemy discussions in their designated threads). Prepare for challenging obstacles that will test both skill, cunning and tenacity.

The lever-based tasks have short cooldowns to encourage solo attempts and maintain quest flow.

Please share feedback on:
Quest progression, consistency issues, or other quest-related concerns.
Report any issues you face completing the questline and it tasks here.

The final boss fight has it's own dedicated thread!

Avoid posting about open-world monster encounters, loot from hunting grounds, or map-related issues here; use the respective threads for those topics to help direct feedback to the right channels.

Please stay constructive and respectful, especially when engaging with others feedback.

Happy testing!

Tibian greetings,
Knightmare
Hello Tibians,

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify the differences between the demonic finger and the demon finger.

The demonic finger can be used at the Doomforge and is obtainable from the test server assistant.

The demon finger, on the other hand, is a new quest item that drops from monsters in the new hunting grounds and cannot be obtained from the test server assistant.

Best regards, and happy hunting!
Ilyndor
Hello adventurers of Tibia,

thank you for your ongoing feedback. The demon finger will be added to the testserver assistant with one of the next patches.

Best regards,
Ilyndor
Thank you for your feedback so far.

The fingers will be renamed to mummified demon fingers to avoid confusion.

The likelihood of them to drop and to break will remain as it is. On the live servers there will eventually be a surplus on fingers in the market. Also you'll have to hunt for the essences anyway and the lower levels of Azzilon will be blocked by a world change until enough core essences have been gathered.

The tasks are not meant to be soloed. If you manage to do so anyway, that's fine but that's not the design goal.

We will monitor the difficulty of tasks and fights. At the moment, we are still evaluating possible balancing adjustments.
Dear Tibians,

thank you for your feedback regarding the charged imp task and the boss fight against Arbaziloth. We are looking into it.
During the Boss fight against Arbaziloth we successfully completed it once out of three tries (5 man team on first try... 4 man team on try two and three)... we then tried again 2x more. We had an rp around level 350 that died on attempt number two and three.. when he died on those two runs the boss seemed to bug. We could no longer damage it ( the HP bar on battle list /boss would not budge despite the boss showing it was taking damage ). Is this some sort of mechanic that triggers upon the death of a player? or possibly a bug? (it also didnt seem like he was outhealing our damage ) it just seemed as if he was invulnerable.
Did this issue persist after removing another energy sphere from Arbaziloth's body?

Best regards,
Ilyndor
Dear Tibians,

based on your feedback and our data, we have decided to make the following changes to the imp task:

Imp Warden
- Reduced hitpoints: 12,500 -> 10,500
- Reduced DPS
- Increased earth sensitivity: 110 -> 120
- Increased energy sensitivity: 0 -> 115
- Increased holy sensitivity: 105 -> 115

Charged Imp
- Reduced DPS

With these changes, we aim to lower the difficulty and risk of this task while preserving the feeling of being overwhelmed by the sheer number of imps. The increased sensitivities, in particular, should enhance the effectiveness of area-of-effect spells.

Please try out these changes once they go live with one of the next patches and let us know what you think.

Best regards,
Ilyndor
Using the demonic core essences will (tomorrow) allow to advance your rank without visiting Lai.
The rank 10 is more of a long term goal for the dedicated and nothing mandatory. The whole ranking requirement is kind of an homage to the leveling in the first version of Tibia (ancient demons + ancient Tibia version, you get it).
The economics of the essences are hard to predict. There is a good chance that people sell essences after they reached a certain level so things on the live servers might turn out unexpected. That being said, we will have an eye on the droprates.
Dear Tibians,

Thank you for your feedback on the changes that we implemented for the imp task last week. Based on your suggestions and our data, we have decided to further reduce the DPS of imp wardens and charged imps.

Additionally, we have extended the time limit from 8 minutes to 10 minutes.

These changes will go live with one of the next testserver patches.

Best regards, and happy testing!

Hello Tibians,

we have decided to remove the damage reflection from charged imps and imp wardens to allow you to use area-of-effect attacks more freely and to reduce the overall risk of this task.

This change will go live with one of the next testserver patches.

Best regards,
Ilyndor
Hello Tibians,
As a Master Sorcerer (level 758), Im facing difficulties with the Doomforging process for crafting Rending weapons due to weight limitations.
Thank you for your comment. We have adjusted the materials required to Doomforge a rending upgrade variant to ensure that no vocation is excluded due to capacity limitations.

Instead of requiring 750 demon horns, you will now need:
  • 50 demon horns
  • 350 demonic essences
  • 350 demonic blood flasks

The rest of the material requirements will remain unchanged.

Best regards,
Ilyndor
To all my fellow adventurers and explorers,

Another test has come to an end, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your dedication, sacrifices, and, of course, those painfully heroic in-game deaths. Every effort, every fight, every victoryevery drop of sweat and tearhas contributed to something greater. (No, not just our amusement! Promise.)

Your courage and commitment have not been in vain but have helped us refine the content we provide. I truly hope you will enjoy the update once it goes live. And remember: no challenge is too great for those who face it together.

May your journeys be filled with triumphs, treasures, and boundless excitement.
Until we meet again, adventurers!

Stay strong, stay legendary, have a happy winter season and a peaceful transition into another year of wonders and adventures.

Tibian greetings,
