In addition to these new characters, we have changed and fixed quite a bit:

Changes that we are working on:
Balancing:
- Added an additional weapon for monks to be looted on Dawnport
- New monks are now provided with a shovel and rope when entering the Blue Valley
- The sai is now called traditional sai and can be used by monks
- Monks can learn Strong Haste (for now)
- Chained Penance can now jump to targets up to 2 squares away
- Double Jab can be learned at level 14 (down from 16) and costs 30 mana (down from 35)
- The healing provided by Virtues has been severely reduced on lower levels
- The base bonus of Harmony has been reduced from 15% to 10% (for now). This affects all spenders
Bugfixes:
- Casting spells now correctly displays their names again
- The assign spell dialog is now properly initialized with the spells your character knows
- Various royalties can no longer provide the monk with the promotion
- Monks can no longer effect other floors, neither with their virtue healing or with their serene state
- Attackspells of monks can no longer be used in PZ
- Spenderspells can no longer be used without enough mana
- Chained Penance now costs mana and can no longer be used in PZ
- Monk gems for the wheel of destiny can now be sold
- Various mapbugs and typos have been fixed
- All shrines on dawnport now have a inscription
- Ambassador Manop dialog has been improved
- Naga tanko now has the correct minimumlevel
- Pair of iron fists and drachaku are now in the correct market category
- Collar and ring of orange plasma will now each only appear once in the cyclopedia
- Fist fighting is now properly written when inspecting and looking in the cyclopedia
- Multiple bugs when switching from Dawnport to the Blue Valley have been fixed
- Eliza now reacts properly to monks
- The initial teleporter in the Blue Valley has been removed to reduce the amount of monks missing important npc dialog
- Added various limitations for imbuements on armor with elemental protection
- Harmony and serene is now properly displayed after disconnects
- Mentor other no longer displays that it scales with magic level
- Spirit Mend now has a sound
- Sais, Sais of enlightenment and falcon sais now use the correct plural (sai)
- Maxtier gems had their values corrected to provide 50% more than their baseversion
- Fixed a client crash when opening the cyclopedia without having a weapon equipped
Changes that we are working on:
- Players will be able to adjust on which side of their arcs harmony and serene is displayed
- The magical archive will correctly display the source for spells monks can learn by completing the Three-Fold Path
- The elemental Spheres Quest will be adjusted

I did test some nagas earlier though, And the ranged exeta res spell is extremely bad (for solo play atleast).
I just decided to skip every ranged mob instead, cuz the spell has way too small area and it didnt seem to target several creatures either? idk felt very bad atleast.
Not sure where else this question would go - will the character limit per account be increased to allow the addition of a monk char on accounts previously at limit?Yes
For some odd reason, I have an extra 36+ point on my fist fighting skills that I do not know where its coming from,My best guess would be either your gear or Virtue of Justice.
I feel like it's a very safe vocation to hunt, I didn't have properly picked EQ or imbues and I had no trouble hunting anywhere (I just filled void and vamp).The changes that are in the works will take a toll on its overall sustain.
Based on their designs, it seems likely that the Fists of Enlightenment have the incorrect graphic, as the Training Wraps share the same design as the exercise wraps. However, both items currently use the same graphic.Thank you. We'll take a look.
Why no cm is answering or giving a position of the concerns/complains about the spells?? People worried about solo play of the monk beeing horrible as many are testing because of the viable spells are waves and on top of that the one that do gotta do combo points. Combo points are really nice, a new mechanic but the vocation need an adjust of the spells. We need a position on this. There is NO chance of changing anything or what?I am not a cm, but we are looking at solo monks and changes might come. However the monk is already performing at high levels.
The character has way too much sustain and can tank lots of things really easily.Sustain will be toned down step by step.
Is the quest The Way of the Monk Quest exclusive to the Monk Vocation? Yes or no?Every vocation can travel to the shrines and every vocation will be rewarded when completing the full journey. However only the monk will learn new spells, gain gear and buff its own autoattack.

- I can understand your dismay regarding the weekend. The past cannot be changed, but this phase will be extended to include the weekend.
- Virtue of Justice and autoattack: Both will be reduced. In combination with a hefty reduction for mantra it should overall drastically reduce the survivability. Adding a downside to Virtue of Justice is in the cards as well.
- Virtue of Harmony: It should be able to compete with Virtue of Justice in its current state.
- Harmony: I agree, that currently using spells without having 5 Harmony is suboptimal and with less than 4 just the wrong decision. In general I want the monk to use 5 Harmony for Spenders, however the difference probably must not be so crass.
Regarding the strain playing the monk puts on yourself:
I do feel you and I am looking into a ways of reducing some of the required inputs and mental load.
Final note:
The provided template character is on the strong side of things. 130 Fist fighting will take the same amount of work that a knight would put in to reach 130 sword fighting for example and having access to all gear is not a given for regular characters, as well as having infinite supplies.
Overall there is still much to be analyzed regarding sustain vs. damage vs. xp/hr ...
