Hello Tibians,

This thread is dedicated exclusively to the (lever-) tasks and the final boss fight against Vladrukh.
Anything not directly related to the battle itself – quest steps, tasks, map details, regular monsters – belongs in the main thread. Keep it clean, folks.

Once you've reached the end of the questline and had your chat with the NPC in the lever room, you should be ready to take on Vladrukh. The encounter is designed to challenge your tactical thinking, positioning, and team coordination.

As usual, the boss fight has a 20-hour cooldown, similar to other final encounters. Test server mechanics allow for cooldown resets, so feel free to experiment and try different approaches.

I'll be around Thursdays at 18:00 CET to observe your battles, possibly take notes, and silently judge your tactical decisions.

Please use this thread to give feedback on:
  • Boss fight mechanics
  • Difficulty and pacing
  • Rewards and loot logic

Stay constructive and respectful when posting feedback – especially if Vladrukh beats you, even though he sucks. It happens.

Good luck, and enjoy the carnage.

Tibian regards,
Knightmare
Dear Tibians,

thank you for your feedback on Vladrukh and his minions.

Based on your feedback and our data, we have decided to implement the following changes:

vampiric essence
  • reduced hitpoints: 75,000 -> 20,000

blood pool
  • reduced probability and strength of healing spell

Please try out these changes once they go live with the next testserver patch and let us know what you think.

Also can you confirm that you need to just kill vampiric essences quick enough for the boss to not heal or is there any special mechanic?
That is correct. While the vampiric essences are active, Vladrukh will heal over time in a safe area. Eliminating the vampiric essences will force him to come back and interrupt his healing phase.

Best regards and happy testing,
Ilyndor
The pacing of the Vampire Ritual Task has been increased.
Dear Tibians,

thank you for your ongoing feedback. We have identified some issues causing the boss to return with more hit points than intended after the bat phase.

We are currently working on solutions, and we will update you in this thread as soon as the next patch is ready.

Happy testing,
Ilyndor
Hello Tibians,

thank you for your ongoing feedback on the Vladrukh bossfight. Based on your feedback and our data, we have implemented the following changes:

  • significantly reduced Vladrukh's self healing during the bat phase
  • increased the amount of damage Vladrukh has to take to trigger the bat phase

These changes aim to solve the problem of Vladrukh returning with more health than intended after the bat phase.

Please try out the adjustments once they go live with the next testserver patch and let us know what you think.

Best regards,
Ilyndor
The Ritual Quest has been re-balanced.
In sum it will advance faster.
Speed of the Monsters escalates in later levels.
Some combat values of Monsters have been improved to make them more threatening.
The ring-spell has been nerfed (less frequent, less damage).

Please test this iteration that will go live tomorrow, so we can assess the changes so for.
Dear Tibians,

thank you for your feedback regarding the tasks and the boss fight against Vladrukh.

Based on your feedback, we have made the following changes:

Vampiric Heart task
  • reduced the environmental earth damage that can occur in some places of the area by approx. 50%
  • reduced the dps of digestive ooze by approx. 20%

Vladrukh
  • increased gold gain
  • added some more thematic loot

Please try out these changes and let us know what you think.

Best regards,
Ilyndor
To prevent excessive body blocking in the vampire ritual that strategy has been nefed due to several changes on the boss-monsters.
You can still test this over the weekend.
Dear Tibians,
another heroic effort is coming to an end.
Huge thanks to all of you for participating in the test and sharing your feedback. It truly made a difference!
Your brave efforts helped squash bugs and shape the update into something worth looking forward to.
I hope you'll enjoy the new challenges waiting for you once the update goes live.

Tibian greetings,
Knightmare
