I put the spell opacity down to 50% but Divine Caldera the animation doesn't seem to be completing.Hi Delru! I wasn't able to reproduce this — the animation plays through completely, regardless of the opacity setting. If this is still an issue, please provide more details. Thanks for checking!
It seems like it cuts out rather than playing the full animation. Is that intended?
Dear Tibians,
While we continue evaluating your feedback, we've addressed following issues:
- Fixed the Momentum effect (hourglass) so that it is not affected by opacity settings.
- Fixed the issue where the opacity slider value in the Options dialog could change by itself.
We're still unable to reproduce the issue where spell effect animations sometimes cancel prematurely, investigation is ongoing.
Happy testing,
Sythrak

Dear Tibians,
Based on your feedback, we've decided to implement an additional option to set a separate opacity value for creature effects in boss areas.
We'll make an announcement as soon as it becomes available on the test server.
We're also continuing to evaluate your feedback and the issue with canceling spell effect animations.

Dear Tibians,
I would like to address your requests and suggestions regarding the changes and improvements to the opacity options.
The main intent of the Spell Opacity feature is to allow you to customise spell effect opacity for improved visual clarity.
As you know, in this first version of the feature, you can already set the opacity for your own spell effects, those of other players, and those cast by creatures separately.
As an improvement, we've added the ability to set a separate opacity value for creatures in boss areas.
Many of you have suggested further refinements, such as:
- Spell-type-based opacity
- Spell whitelist-based opacity
- Separate opacity for totem effects
- Spearate opacity by spell and rune effects
- Opacity settings for damage numbers
- and some other more specific proposals
While these are great ideas, we won't be able to evaluate or implement changes of this scale during the external test. However, we'll continue collecting and reviewing your feedback for potential future updates.
Thank you for your engagement and for helping us improve the game!
Cheers,
Sythrak
