Dear Testers,

welcome to our test server for the Summer Update 2026! Among the new quests mentioned in the welcome thread, there is a quest called "Shards of a Broken Moon" waiting to be discovered. It will take you to back to Marapur where a mystery related to the moon is to be unraveled.

Have fun discovering this new area where old enemies are once again causing trouble. Travel to Marapur via the portal or the magic carpet. As soon as you arrive there, you will learn more. After unlocking the access to an ancient subterranean citadel, your mission will be to oppose well-known foes and foil their sinister plans. This area is targeted at mid-level players, the monsters and the bosses are the main reason to re-visit the dungeons. But there's also new equipment, a beautiful mount and special house decoration waiting for you as reward.

Please note that in this thread we will discuss only the quest-related questions. For feedback concerning the bosses and monsters, please use the according threads: Shards of a Broken Moon - Bosses and Shards of a Broken Moon - Hunting Grounds

Please help us to remove any remaining bugs and give us your feedback concerning the quest.

You can use this thread to inform us about:
  • Quest or map bugs that require a more detailed explanation
  • Issues with quest logic or progress, certain actions that got you stuck
  • Inconsistencies in the quest or map
Please report obvious bugs via the bug report function ingame (press Ctrl+Z):
  • Map bugs can be reported by right-clicking on a map field and selecting the entry "Report Coordinate" from the context menu.
  • Mistakes in NPC chats can be reported by right-clicking on the NPC text in question and selecting the context menu entry "Report Message".

Best regards and have fun testing!

Dear testers,

thank you for testing and for your feedback so far!

Sorry, my mistake. I was a bit too eager and left this feedback before actually finishing the quest.

Now that I've completed it, it makes perfect sense. The door is intentionally inaccessible until the quest is completed, and only then can you pass through it without needing the key.

Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the confusion!
I was about to tell you that you don't need the key anymore after completing the quest. But I'm glad that you already found out.

For those of you who have difficulties in continuing in the quest after discovering the colour code: Consider talking to one of the quest-related NPCs, perhaps one of them has some useful idea.

Concerning the final ice prison room: Does anyone else experience the fact that you are teleported there more than once?

Dear testers,

thank you for your ongoing testing and feedback! I can give you some information about fixes and some hints:

- There is a fix for the ice prison access. You should be teleported there only once, after the first time killing the Moonsnow Magnolia. And you should get a questlog update after leaving the tunnel via the rope spot. The fix should be online with today's afternoon patch. It is also possible that the Moonsnow Magnolia access bug screwed up your quest flags, so you might have to reset the quest with the help of the testserver assistant.

- We adjusted the questlog. There will be a hint now, what to do after discovering the asuri experiments in the shard crater room.

- concerning the house decoration: There is a hint in the dungeon how to get these items. Look closely and you might find out more.

- concerning access to the Forbidden Gardens: This is not a bug, but there might be a little secret here. There is a small hint, though.

- We will also have a look at the jaracal taming mechanic.

Dear testers,

there is another fix for the ice prison access and we hope that everything is now working as intended. You should also be able to enter Niral's room after today's afternoon patch.

concerning the deco items: You are on the right track. Have a closer look at the blue stones surrounding the frozen pond. Do you notice anything?

As for the Forbidden Gardens and the question why some players can enter while others cannot: The hint might be in the name itself.

Thanks for pointing out the keyword inconsistencies, we will have a look at that.

The note about the use of a red piece of cloth and perfume is not to be found in the Moonsnow Magnolia portal room originally, but in another room. Perhaps someone dropped it in the portal room. However, the note gives a fairly clear indication of what to do with the items.

I hope you have a lovely weekend and until Monday!

Dear testers,

I'm glad to hear that you lifted the secrets concerning the house deco items and the Forbidden Garden access.

We made another fix for the ice prison access. It seems, that the problem occurred for those players, who killed the Moonsnow Magnolia, got kicked out of the boss room, returned and killed her again and then used the teleporter portal out. The bug should be fixed now.

Concerning shortcuts in Marapur and the jaracal taming mechanic, we are still discussing these points in team.

Dear testers,

today, we made some adjustments for the jaracal taming mechanic. The jaracal will now disappear, when the text says so, yet it will bite you. But the success chance for taming the mount is higher now. The changes will be online tomorrow.

concerning the moon: Whilst Tibia has two suns, just like our real world it has only one moon. There is a good chance that the lore about the moon, Amati, lunar phases and so on will be explored further and expanded upon in the future.

Dear testers,

thank you for testing, your feedback always helps us greatly to improve our updates.

concerning additional deco items: As the blue stone and the ice shards are heavily connected to the ice theme, a statue or a banner without any ice or frost connection would not really fit. However, we have noticed that many players like this kind of reward. So, we will keep this in mind for future updates.
