Dear Tibians,

the summer update 2026 brings a new, magical challenge for coordinated teams: Mimar Haffar.

This thread is dedicated to this boss fight from the new quest Make Believe. If you have feedback about the quest, other bosses or the UI of the new difficulty system, please share it in the corresponding threads.

Mimar Haffar is an Archfoe Boss and can be challenged every 20 hours. Just like the other boss fights from this quest, this encounter uses the new difficulty scaling and will require teams to coordinate efficiently and make good use of the strengths of different vocations.

For this boss fight, we are especially interested in your feedback regarding the following topics:
  • What was, in your opinion, your vocation's primary role in this fight?
  • Were all of the mechanics clear to you, or did you have trouble understanding any of them?
  • What difficulty did you choose?
  • If you chose a difficulty with additional mechanics, how did these mechanics change your approach to this boss fight?

It also helps us if you let us know when (e.g. before or after a specific change) and how you tested something so that we know which version you are referring to.

Please keep in mind that you can use the voodoo doll to reset the cooldowns of the new bosses.

-------------------------------------------------------

If you want to make us aware of a balancing issue, please use the following template:

Title/Abstract: What's it about?
  • Provide a short and clear headline that captures the essence of your feedback.

Situation/Problem: In a nutshell, what bothers you and why?
  • Be specific, concise and to the point while giving enough detail for understanding.
  • Tell us about your own personal experiences, observations and your point of view.

Goals and Suggestions: What do you propose?
  • Explain what you want to see changed and why.
  • Make a reasonable suggestion on how to remedy the situation/problem.

In general, make sure that your feedback...
  • fits our overall goals/vision as described in the FAQ.
  • is split into focused and manageable chunks instead of mixing multiple balancing topics or suggestions together.
  • is posted in an organised, easy-to-read way.

We hope you enjoy this fight and look forward to your feedback!

Hello valiant boss slayers of Tibia,

We hope you are enjoying the new boss fights from the Make Believe quest. Based on our data and your feedback, we have decided to implement the following changes to make these encounters more challenging:

Mimar Haffar
  • Trapped souls will now occasionally trigger an announced explosion that inflicts damage based on the maximum hitpoints of players. This should prevent players from keeping all souls in one place.

  • We have increased the cooldown of the player teleporters between the upper and lower floor to incentivise a clear distribution of all party members across both floors.

  • We have also increased the damage output and reduced the respawn time of moonsilver custodians to make them more dangerous. As some of you might have already found out, there are ways to keep them behind barriers.

  • Additionally, we have reduced the respawn time of moonstone miners to decrease the down time while collecting moonsilver crystals.

We are excited for you to try out these changes and tell us what you think.

Kind regards and happy boss slaying,
Ilyndor
Dear Tibians,

Before the weekend starts, we have prepared some changes to the Make Believe boss fights. These changes should go live with this afternoon's patch.

Mimar Haffar

  • Increased the damage output of moonsilver sentinels and Mimar Haffar.

We have also seen your feedback that gathering moonsilver crystals feels tedious and takes up too much time. We are already working on changes to address this.

Please try out these changes once they go live and let us know what you think.

Have a nice weekend,
Ilyndor
Dear Tibians,

As announced last week, we have taken another look at the preparation phase and have come up with the following changes. These should already be live with this afternoon's patch, so please give them a try.

Mimar Haffar

  • Reduced the number of charges required for each energy cannon by 50%.
  • Further reduced the respawn time of moonstone miners.
  • Increased the duration of Mimar Haffar's vulnerability phase by 50%.

We hope these adjustments make the fight more dynamic and engaging.

Best regards and happy boss hunting,

Ilyndor and Jasuin
Hello Tibians,

With this afternoon's patch, we have added several more moonstone miners to make collecting moonsilver crystals more efficient.

Best regards,
Ilyndor and Jasuin
Hello Tibians,

We have decided to significantly increase the experience gained from the Mimar Haffar boss fight from 1,000,000 to 3,500,000 to be more in line with the bosses from Rotten Blood.

Please note that this change won't be included in this morning's patch.

Best regards and happy testing,

Ilyndor
Dear Tibians,

As the test server is coming to an end, we would like to take a moment to thank you for your continued feedback over the last two weeks.

Your reports and suggestions, combined with our data, helped us fine-tune Mimar Haffar's encounter and ensure that the fight better reflects the cunning and magical prowess of this powerful djinn.

Please note that on the live servers, the additional mechanics will start to trigger at difficulty levels 10 and 25 instead of 10 and 15.

We have also reduced the respawn time of moonsilver custodians to keep the pressure on players throughout the encounter. In addition, we have fixed a bug that prevented Mimar Haffar from benefiting from his charges while in his invincible form.

We hope you will enjoy facing Mimar Haffar on the live servers. Once the content goes live, please continue to share your feedback and let us know what you think.

Take care, and as always, happy boss slaying,

Ilyndor and Jasuin
