Dear Tibians,
As mentioned yesterday, we took a step back, refocused, and want to address your main concerns.
To keep the discussion focused, we have locked the previous general paladin thread for Phase III.
Please use this thread to share your thoughts on the changes we currently have planned in response to your feedback.
The following changes are currently planned:
Stances:
Dev-Comment: These changes are intended to strengthen both the Paladin's identity and their overall survivability.
Sharpshooter will focus primarily on physical damage by boosting your attacks, as well as physical spells that benefit from Distance Fighting, such as Ethereal Barrage. Since this boost will no longer come with a downside, it will also improve the leech values.
Divine Defiance will see a slight shift to a more well rounded stance that hones in on holy damage as well as a sizable survivability boost through healing magic level and dodge.
Salvation:
Dev-Comment: A small change that helps with the baseline survivability of Paladins.
Ethereal and Divine Barrage:
Dev-Comment: We want these spells to feel easy to use, and since Paladins are already familiar with the shape of Diamond Arrows and rune targeting, this version should be easy to adapt to.
Divine Dazzle:
Dev-Comment: As we are improving Chivalrous Challenge, its sister spell should at least get some of its new improvements as well.
We hope these changes address the concerns raised while also giving Paladins something to look forward to in this update.
The forums will remain open until Tuesday for you to provide feedback.
Cheers,
Fluffey

The following changes are currently planned:
Stances:
- Sharpshooter simplified to grant 40% distance skill. No downside, no additional holy magic level.
- Divine Defiance improved to grant 15% dodge against non-adjacent enemies, plus Holy and Healing Magic Level equal to 7.5% of your Distance Fighting.
Dev-Comment: These changes are intended to strengthen both the Paladin's identity and their overall survivability.

Salvation:
- Base power increased from 400 to 500.
Dev-Comment: A small change that helps with the baseline survivability of Paladins.
Ethereal and Divine Barrage:
- Reworking targeting to only hit your targeted area, using the three new targeting options: crosshair, cursor position, or below target/below self without a target.
- Increasing the size of the spells to match that of Diamond Arrows.
Dev-Comment: We want these spells to feel easy to use, and since Paladins are already familiar with the shape of Diamond Arrows and rune targeting, this version should be easy to adapt to.
Divine Dazzle:
- Increasing jumprange to 7.
- Augment I: Adds +2 targets (was +1).
- Augment II: Reduces cooldown by 8 seconds (was 4 seconds).
Dev-Comment: As we are improving Chivalrous Challenge, its sister spell should at least get some of its new improvements as well.
